hi boon,

Love reading about your step of faith into unchartered territory. I too abhor logistical tasks as well.

I'm actually back from Singapore to KL, taking up a new role in my organization. The prevailing question that comes from my colleagues is "Why in the world did you come back? There is such much more opportunities there."

I wonder about it very much myself too. But it seemed to me, before I came back, the best decision I could make. Now I just need to clear the doubts and weather through the best path in the storm.

I pray you come out of the journey ahead stronger.

You have a fantastic attitude to the move, Boon, and I just know it will stand to you in London. And you're right about having lots more options up your sleeve with regards to the job hunt - plus, of course, the added advantage you will have when you're applying for jobs 'on the ground' in London herself.

Going through the cycle of making decisions, executing and reassessing is when you know you are living your life the best way you can. All the best!

I can fully understand what you are going though. I had to resign from my job and came here without any job. However, I was lucky to get a scholarship and get several part time jobs. However, things have got worse since then and everything points to a recession coming soon. Hope the economics pundits are wrong.
